Driving forward: Ex-Real Madrid star Jese back in training after influencer girlfriend ‘tries to run him over in car’ (VIDEO)
Two-time Champions League winner Jese has told fans to “stop getting false news” after reports said that eyewitnesses had seen his celebrity girlfriend trying to run him over in a car.
The alleged incident, which reportedly forced the former Real Madrid and Paris Saint-Germain striker to miss training, is said to have taken place after the pair attended a concert at the Gran Canaria Arena in Las Palmas, where Jese plays for the local second division side.
Socialite Aurah Ruiz, who had spoken last week about starting a new life with the 28-year-old by moving in with him, attempted to “run over the footballer with the car after arguing”, Canarias7 said via translation.
The account shared shaky footage of a figure appearing to be helped away on a path by a road, with the outlet claiming that the relationship has been marred by “continuous disagreements”, the alleged latest of which is said to have kept the popular hotshot out of a session with his club on Tuesday.

Sixth-placed Las Palmas face a huge derby at home to Tenerife on Saturday, knowing that they can leap two places and overtake their local rivals with victory.
The team held a barbecue on Wednesday ahead of the crunch clash, and midfielder Omenuke Mfulu was said to have told the media that Jese was physically fine.
Club president Miguel Angel Ramirez was quoted to have told a radio station that Jese had “trained with absolute normality”, and the striker himself shared a photo of himself going through his paces with his Instagram following of more than two million.
“Great training today,” the winner of European club football’s top prize with Madrid in 2014 and 2016 wrote. “Stop getting false news and respect.”
While fans left jokey remarks about the rumors on her Instagram page, which is followed by more than 615,000 accounts, mother-of-one Ruiz also shared the same photo of Jese honing his skills.
In one of her many modeling shoots on the social media platform, Ruiz posed next to a luxury white car two weeks ago and wrote: “Make love to me, not war.”
Part-time musician Jese, who was sacked by PSG amid a sex scandal in December and accused of cheating on Ruiz, replied: “I’ll do it to you, baby.”
Discussing her move to the area after leaving Spain’s version of Celebrity Big Brother, Ruiz admitted that the decision had been hard.
“I know that this change is to form a life, a family and a path,” she said in a story published on Friday, making reference to the son, Nyan, she has with Jese.
The former Spain youth international has scored three goals and provided four assists during an impressive start to the season across Las Palmas’ first nine league games.
Jese came through the ranks in Madrid’s youth team, spending a total of nine years at the Liga giants and scoring 13 senior goals alongside the likes of Cristiano Ronaldo, Karim Benzema and Gareth Bale.
He won the Ligue 1 title with Paris in 2020, having been loaned out to Las Palmas in 2017, then-Premier League side Stoke, Spanish club Real Betis and Portuguese heavyweights Sporting.
